Rain rain go away....
Well one things for sure. I've made proper use of my rain jacket here in Auckland. It is yet another rainy day outside...fifth one this week.

On October 22, 2009, I(Gretchen Egeberg) will be heading to New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa for up to one year. The Plan: have no plan, meet some interesting people, work a little, volunteer a little, do some major hiking and camping, and overall try my best to enjoy everything I encounter.
Oh, well. The weather will do what it wants. Don't know if you plan a visit to the South Island, but I'd encourage you to consider a visit to Gavin and Justin Wills in Omarama. It's one of the premier mountain soaring locations on the planet and they are the best pilots to be found. More inf at:
